Chicken and Eggs Salt and Pepper Shakers - vintage, collectible, kitchen, serving
1907 - This set of salt and peppers is three pieces - the chicken and the two eggs. This set is in fair condition as the chicken has a small crack in the paint on the area where the egg rests, as well as the paint on the eggs seemed to run before being glazed (see photos).
The chicken is white with a red waddle and yellow beak. She is 4 inches tall and 4 inches long. The eggs are both 2 inches tall, have plastic stoppers. The hen is marked with a gold label on the bottom "Made in China."
