RARE Nodding Cowboy and Gun Salt and Pepper Shakers - vintage, collectible, Japan
714 - This set of salt and pepper shakers are used and in good conditionwith slight paint wear and small chips on the base. This is a rare find dating back to the 1950's.
The set is 3 pieces, the cowboy, the gun and the base. The cowboy has on a green hat and sits in the base that is his shirt. The shift is blue plaid sleeves and yellow. He has a pink scarf around his neck. In his stationary arm he is hold a black revolver and the other hand is the nodding gun. The cowboy shaker is 3 1/2 inches tall, has a cork stopper, and marked on the back "Patent T.T."
The gun is the other shaker which is black with gold trim on the top. It is sitting in the cowboys other hand. This shaker is 2 1/2 inches tall, had a cork stopper and marked "Patent T.T.".
The base is the cowboys body sitting on a brown part of a horse. This base is 2 inches tall and 3 inches long. It is marked on the bottom "Made in Japan".
The sticker handing around the cowboy's neck says $375.00 cowboy nodder.
