Nodding Donkey Salt and Pepper Shakers - vintage, collectible
1907 - This set of salt and pepper shakers is three pieces - the donkey and the two barrels. This set is used and in good condition.
The donkey is white with brown and black trimming. He hoofs are brown and have some chipping. The donkey's head bobs up and down. He is 5 inches tall from the bottom to the tip of the ear and is 7 3/4 inches long from the tip of the mane to the bend of the tail. He has a silver and red sticker on the bottom but it is not readable as it has been peeled off.
The barrels are black and white and hang from a metal rack on the back of the donkey. Each barrel is 3 inches tall and both have cork stoppers. There is a sticker on one of the barrels and I believe it says "Enesco".
