Star fish and Clam salt and pepper shakers - vintage, collectible, Japan
715 - This set is three pieces, they are used and in good condition. There are two tiny chips on the edge of the clam (see photos). Also in the pictures, it shows a marred area that appears to be a hairline fracture, however it is just the paint as it has been glazed over and is smooth.
One shaker is a star fish that is brown and green on the top. It sits down in the dish which is a seashell. This shaker is 1 1/2 inches tall and 2 1/4 inches wide. It has a cork stopper and marked "Japan" on the bottom.
The other shaker is a clam. This shaker is beige with strokes of brown and pink on the inside. This shaker is 1 3/4 inches tall, has a cork stopper and also marked "Japan" on the bottom.
The seashell tray is a blend of pink, green and yellow on the outside and green on the inside. The dish measures 4 3/4 inches long and 1 1/4 inches tall. It has a faded sticker on the bottom marked "Japan". Also on the front is a sticker "souvenir Corpus Christi Tex."
